All roads lead to Cable this Friday for Silkies City Limits Vol 2 album launch. The line up is off the hook and includes a rare back to back special from Loefah and Bodikka and some rumoured guest appearances from vocalists on the album. Silkie has also put together a mix made up of entirely his own material for Fact Mag ahead of Fridays antics. "Peace go with you brother"

I have been meaning to pay my respect to the late great Gil Scot Heron since hearing of his death on May the 27th. Rather than post some Jamie XX remix, I wanted to try and dig deep into his music and shine a light on his lesser known bit's. I just bumped into this G.P tribute mix which I cant test. So deep respects paid, hats doffed to a great man gone.

Return Of The Tape Crackers!

London pirate radio mega fans Rollo Jackson and Micheal Finch, embellish there Tape Crackers Film that I posted a while back (apparently dropping on DVD soon..). The Radio show ( went out on Resonance Fm) moves through the end of jungle, DnB, Speed Garage leading to the birth of Grime! This is a great insight in to London pirate scene, if you don't have a shit load of your own on TDK90's under your bed your not gonna be hearing these snippets else where. Essential listening.
